FLOTEL JUNGLE DISCOVERY – PROGRAM JD 01
IQUITOS - PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE - IQUITOS
5 DAYS – 4 NIGHTS / SUNDAY TO THURSDAY
 Day 1 Domestic flight from Lima to Iquitos. Transfer from the airport to the “Jungle Discovery”, orientation and accommodation. City tour of the historical sites from the rubber time in Iquitos. Afterwards we navigate the Amazon River upriver, enjoying the views on the river shore and the colorful sunset until we arrive to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve entrance on the Marañon River.
Day 2 On the confluence of the rivers Yanayacu and Pucate we explore today the zones 1 and 2 of the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. We spend the day with a walk in the primary forest, accompanied with the guides, sport fishing and we visit the small village of 20 de Enero. In the late afternoon we continue with our navigation on board of the “Jungle Discovery”.
 Day 3 Early morning we go bird watching on the Samiria river. After breakfast we visit the Cocama community of San Martín de Tipishca and take part in the cultural activities of the village. In canoes we explore the lake of the same name and observe the pink and gray river dolphins. Together with the native guides of the village we go on a walk in the surrounding forest and they explain the flora and fauna as well as the use of their medicinal plants.
Day 4 Today we explore the zone 2 in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, an area full of oxbow lakes. On walks and navigating in small canoes, our guides explain the amazing biodiversity of the Reserve. After a delicious Barbecue we start to navigate again the Marañon river downriver
Day 5 In the morning we visit the Nauta Sewer area with its exuberant wildlife and walk in the adjoining secondary forest with its different flora. From Nauta out we return by bus to Iquitos for the domestic flight back to Lima.

FLOTEL JUNGLE DISCOVERY – PROGRAM JD 02
IQUITOS - PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE - IQUITOS
4 DAYS – 3 NIGHTS / THURSDAY TO SUNDAY
 Day 1 Domestic flight from Lima to Iquitos. Transfer from the airport to the “Jungle Discovery”, orientation and accommodation. City tour of the historical sites from the rubber time in Iquitos. Transfer of 1½ hours by bus to Nauta where we board the “Jungle Discovery”. We navigate to the confluence of the rivers Marañon and Ucayali from where the Amazon River begins. After the sunset we navigate the Ucayali river up to the Tapiche River.
Day 2 Early morning we navigate by canoe on the Tapiche river for bird watching and observation of the pink and gray river dolphins and by chance as well monkeys. After breakfast we go sport fishing in the Aleman Gorge and later on we go on a walk in the primary forest, where the guides explain the flora and fauna of the area.
Day 3 Today we explore the zone 1 in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve on the river Pacuyo and the Puinahua Chanel. On walks and navigating in small canoes, our guides explain the amazing biodiversity of the Reserve. We start to navigate the Amazon River down river to Iquitos.
Day 4 In the morning we visit the Yanaquillo Gorge to observe the huge aquatic water lilies. After arriving in Iquitos, City tour of the historical sites from the rubber time. Transfer to the airport for the domestic flight back to Lima.

8 DAYS – 7 NIGHTS / SUNDAY TO SUNDAY
