Kempery Tours is a tour operator with its main office in Quito, Ecuador. Our Swiss-Ecuadorian owned agency has been organizing trips throughout Ecuador for over a decade.

We chose the name of our agency in honour of Kem Pere, the famous and charismatic chief of the Huaorani people. He has been our lifelong friend and over the years he has taught us much about the Amazon rainforest, its magic, its rhythms and its people.

Vicente Sevilla followed the foodsteps of his grandfather, who first forged a friendship with the Huaorani over 50 years ago. His father was one of the first to offer tours into their Territory and Vicente himself has been working with indigenous peoples of the Amazon for more than twenty years.

From a sole operator in the rainforest, Kempery Tours has been growing to a operator in the Galapagos Islands and in the Andes .

Currently, with funds generated from our tour programs, we are establishing the Kempery Foundation. The Foundation will work hand-in-hand with the Huaorani on rainforest conservation and economic sustainable projects.
